Thank you for your interest in the 2019 NHD in Maine Northern Regional Contest on March 23 at John Bapst Memorial High School. This year's theme is Triumph and Tragedy in History.
IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE COMPETED IN ONE REGIONAL CONTEST FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE CONTEST.
We will be in touch roughly 3 weeks prior (March 1, 2019) to contest day with directions, arrival times, schedules, and other important information depending on your role in this year's contest.

What to Expect During the contest
We use judges from all walks of life - educators, librarians, archivists, museum personnel, national park rangers, History Day alumni and even armchair historians. ANYONE who loves history, research, or the pursuit of knowledge is welcome to judge.
As a thank you, we will be providing a breakfast and lunch for all of our judges on contest day.
